Reading Guide

The reading guide button allows the user to have a reading guide that will appear on the y & x axis. (Think of it like using your finger to guide you eyes over the words you should be reading on a book).

Highlight Reading Guide

The hightlight reading guide button allows the user to have a reading guide that will highlight a strip on the page to view.

Sprocket is our new school dog who has been coming into Coton with Mrs Burton every day. He is Mrs Burton’s 3 year old sprocker spaniel and enjoys keeping the people he loves happy and calm. He absolutely LOVES coming into school so that he can help the children and staff. Sprocket enjoys lots food and running with his mummy. He also likes to sleep and play with his family and the children at Coton.

Our aims for Sprocket to be at Coton are:

Aims:

  • To welcome children into school by meeting and greeting on the school gate
  • To support children who are struggling to come into school
  • To hear children read
  • To support children and staff who may need emotional help.
  • To participate in well-being Wednesdays / joining in with walking around Coton
  • To assist to maintain a calm learning environment.

Sprocket has been with us at Coton since May 2025 but has soon settled into school life. Watch this space for more updates!
